World Board. The time in all your cities, like an airport board. Learn more
World Board
A world clock for your Mac desktop.
See what time it is for your team, your family and your clients at a glance. World Board lists your cities like an airport departures board, and flips each time the minute changes.
About the World Board widgetClock
A big, beautiful clock for your desktop.
The time in large dots you can read from across the room. Show your own city or any other, with today's date underneath.
About the Clock widgetDay
Today's date, always in sight.
Never ask “what's the date?” again. Day shows the weekday and date in dots, plus a bar that fills as the day passes. The large size adds the week number and day of the year.
About the Day widgetProgress
Watch the year go by.
A progress bar for time itself. See how much of the day, week, month or year has passed, and how much is left. A quiet nudge to make it count.
About the Progress widgetCountdown
Count down to what matters.
A launch, a holiday, a deadline, a birthday. Give it a name and a date, and Countdown keeps the days, hours and minutes on your desktop.
About the Countdown widgetSign
Your words, in lights.
A motto, a reminder, this week's goal. Type anything and Sign sets it in dots, sized to fill the widget perfectly.
About the Sign widgetHow to add a widget to your Mac desktop
macOS 14 Sonoma and later let you put widgets straight onto the desktop, not just in Notification Center. Install Flapdot, then right-click an empty spot on your desktop and choose Edit Widgets. Search for Flapdot, pick a widget and drag the size you want onto the desktop. Drag it again to move it; right-click it and choose Edit Widget to give that one its own city, period, message or theme.
Widgets fade back while you work and come forward when you look at the desktop, which is exactly the right behavior for a clock. Clicking a Flapdot widget opens the app on that widget's settings, so changing a countdown takes about four seconds.
Eight themes, on every widget
Midnight, Obsidian, Paper, Matcha, Lemon, Sky, Amber, Phosphor. Four of them glow the way a real dot display does, the rest stay flat and quiet. Set one theme for everything, or give each widget its own so they tell themselves apart at a glance.
All six, for $6.
One purchase, every widget and every theme, on one Mac at a time. 7-day refund if it isn't for you.
