Can I put more than one clock on my desktop?

Yes. Drag out as many as you like, then right-click each one, choose Edit Widget and give it its own city and theme.

Does it drain the battery?

No. The widget wakes once a minute to redraw itself and sleeps the rest of the time.

Does it show seconds?

No. macOS wakes desktop widgets about once a minute, so a seconds display would be wrong more often than right. The Clock shows hours and minutes.

A clock you can read across the room

The time in the menu bar is four small characters in the corner of a crowded screen. This one is the size of your hand, drawn in dots, and it flips digit by digit the way a station clock does. You stop looking for the time and start just seeing it.

Your city, or any other

Leave the Clock on your Mac's own time zone, or point it at any of the 68 cities in the list. Keep one clock on your time and a second on your team's, each with its own theme, and you'll never mistake one for the other.

Three sizes, eight themes

Small stacks the city, the time and the date in a square. Medium gives the time the whole board. Large adds a bar underneath that fills as the day goes by, so you can see the afternoon disappearing. Every size works in all eight themes, from quiet Paper to glowing Amber.

How to add it

Download Flapdot and drag it into your Applications folder.
Open the app and pick the city the clock should follow.
Right-click your desktop on an empty spot, and choose Edit Widgets.
Search for Flapdot pick Clock and drag the size you want onto the desktop.

Clock comes in Small, Medium and Large. macOS lets you drop the same widget on the desktop more than once, so you can keep a small one beside your notes and a large one where you'll see it from the sofa.
